Then a hydrofoil "Cometa" brings the group to the island of Kizhi in lake Onego. Kizhi is the gem of Karelia where the world-wide known museum of wooden architecture is placed. The group visits the historical-architectural and ethnographic outdoor museum. On coming back from the island – transfer to the hotel.
Your second day adventure starts with the most beautify corner in Karelia – Ladoga Area Ruskeala mountain park - the old abandoned quarry located on the Northern Ladoga. The site delivered the stone for greatest architectural projects around RussianEmpire times for almost three centuries. Now it attracts tourists all over the world. During the tour you will also visit the mysterious “Underground Ruskeala” and walk through the cleared marble caves.
After the tour you will have a spare time to explore quarry park by your own. This is the great place to take picturesque photos or even meditate. The view at and from the canyon is breathtaking and the site beams positive energy stored in stones.
